MOORESVILLE, N.C. (August 10, 2010) – In an effort to prepare for the 2011 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) season, Spraker Racing and Andrew Smith made the mutual decision to part ways, effective immediately. Smith made his NKNPSE debut this season in the Spraker Racing No. 37 Spraker Racing Enterprises – Smith Associates Chevrolet.

Spraker Racing is exploring their options for the rest of 2010 and beyond and plan to run the remainder of the season. They are looking to test qualified drivers to decide the best possible option for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

“We wish Andrew the best in his future endeavors,” said team owner Jeff Spraker. “It has been a tough season, so we are excited to test some new young talent and prepare for next year. This mid-season separation gives both Spraker Racing and Andrew the chance to prepare for 2011. Hopefully, this change of pace will change our on-track luck as well.”
