DOVER, Del. – Danica Patrick will attempt to tackle the monster twice with the announcement of her intent to enter the “Sunoco 150” NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Dover on Sept. 24. Patrick will behind the wheel of the No. 83 JR Motorsports entry in the Friday afternoon race scheduled to take the green flag at 4:45 p.m. The Sunoco 150 at Dover serves as the season finale for NASCAR’s top developmental series, and a champion will be crowned when the checkered flag falls.

Patrick will also race the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in the 200-mile NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Saturday, Sept. 25. Prior to the event, Patrick will participate in a free question-and-answer session on the base of the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza, presented by AAA, at 12:45 p.m. The Q&A will be hosted by Greg T “Fratboy” and Skeery Jones from the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, and will be a great opportunity for fans to catch a glimpse of the female phenom.

Tickets for the Sunoco 150 race day start at $28 for adults and just $6 for kids 11 and under. A Friday race ticket also includes NASCAR K&N Pro Series East qualifying, NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series practices, Sprint Cup Series qualifying and the 150-mile race.
