SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — For years, fans flocked to South Boston Speedway when the USAR Hooters ProCup Series came to town. Those same fans now come to watch the cars and stars of the USARacing Pro Cup Series.

The name may have changed, but the intense racing action in the series is the same. And, the USARacing Pro Cup Series will be back at South Boston Speedway on Saturday, Nov. 6 for the second annual running of the USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship 300 presented by Strutmasters.com.

The green flag for the USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship 300 presented by Strutmasters.com will be 2 p.m. Grandstand gates will open on Nov. 6 at 11 a.m.

Qualifying time trials for the 300-lap race on the four-tenths mile asphalt oval will begin at noon on Nov. 6 and will be followed by an on-track autograph session prior to the start of the race.

Clay Rogers will enter the final event of the season for the USARacing Pro Cup Series with a 79-point advantage over Caleb Holman. Rogers is coming off a victory on Oct. 9 at Greenville-Pickens (S.C.) Speedway.

As a way to thank South Boston Speedway’s fans for their loyal support and dedication throughout the 2010 season, General Manager Cathy Rice announced last week that discounted tickets for the USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship 300 presented by Strutmasters.com would be available for the price of $10 for adults. Tickets will be priced at $15 on the day of the race.
