Gilliland to drive for BAM in Daytona 500
Caught in the Catchfence™On Tuesday, BAM Racing announced that Sprint Cup Series veteran David Gilliland will pilot a car for the organization in the Daytona 500 on Feb. 14 as its No. 49 makes a return to Sprint Cup competition.
“I’m really looking forward to competing for Beth Ann and the BAM Racing organization in the 2010 Daytona 500,” Gilliland said. “I was excited after our meeting in Homestead when I learned that I was on their short list of potential drivers.”
Earlier this month, BAM announced that it was returning to Sprint Cup racing and would form an alliance with Robby Gordon Motorsports. As conditions under the alliance, RGM will provide Bam with technical support, race cars, and personnel. - Full Story by Amanda Vincent – Louisville NASCAR Examiner
