Limited Edition Backyard Brawl Poster Available With Purchase of NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race Ticket
Press Release
“With $1 million at stake, sparks are going to fly and tempers will flare during the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. “The All-Star Race has featured some of the best on-track battles in the sport’s history.
“The new fight poster highlights some of NASCAR’s star personalities that are sure to play a part in the final laps of this year’s race. It’s a cool collectible for our NASCAR fans.”
The 22-by-28 inch, full-color poster features Dale “Wahoo” Jr., vs. Kevin “Baron Von” Harvick in a “bumper bashing beat down,” and Kyle “Rowdy” Busch vs. Tony “Smoke” Stewart in a “transmission submission match.” Of the 5,000 copies of the poster, 100 have been specially autographed by Flair, and will be randomly distributed to lucky fans.
For the second year, the speedway has engaged the 16-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, Flair, to promote the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race through print, radio and television advertising. Special video clips of the spots are available on www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.
Tickets for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on May 22 can be obtained by calling 1-800-455-FANS or online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com. Fans can reserve their seat with $20.10 down and set up customized, convenient payment plans by calling the speedway ticket office and speaking directly to a Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket agent.
