9,000… tickets to the Auto Club 500 to be held on Feb. 21, 2010

SAN BERNARDINO county, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2010) – Stater Bros.’ customers who purchase $75 or more in qualifying groceries between Feb. 3 -13 can receive a receipt redeemable for free tickets to the Auto Club 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race to be held at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.

For every $75 of eligible products purchased in a single visit transaction during the “Race to 75” promotion, Stater Bros. customers will receive a receipt redeemable for one free race ticket, and customers can qualify for a maximum of six tickets per household.  Eligible products exclude items such as tobacco, alcoholic beverages, fluid milk products, prescriptions, lottery tickets, postage stamps, sales tax, CRV, money orders and gift cards.

To receive free tickets, customers must redeem their qualifying grocery receipt(s) at the Auto Club Speedway Box Office, which will begin distributing the tickets at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 3 through Feb. 14 (or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST).  Besides a limit of six tickets per household, there is a limit of 9,000 total tickets that are available to be given out during this promotional period.  This promotion is open to legal U.S. residents age 18 years or older who possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
