Carl Edwards on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“First race of the year, and I can’t wait to get my No. 60 Fastenal/Copart Ford Fusion on the track at Daytona. It’s going to be a great year and I am excited about our sixth full year in the Nationwide Series. The bottom line is to put our Ford in victory lane and win the championship. We have got a great time and we are ready to go!”

“Finally its here race season 2010, we are ready to get this underway. The 60 Fastenal team is excited and poised for a run at the championship. We plan on coming out of the box with a knockout punch. We are bringing the car we won Talladega last year and sat on the front row with in Daytona in July. It has been massaged and tweaked, polished and it is ready to hit the track. Our team knows what’s on the line this season and everyone is all in. Being from Florida and that Daytona’s one of our biggest races, it would mean so much to get back to Victory lane. I was fortunate to win a 500 down here, and it’s a feeling you never forget. I’m hoping Carl and I can give that feeling to all the Fastenal and Roush Fenway group for the support they have given us in this quest for the 2010 Nationwide Championship.”

-CARL EDWARDS will make his 11th Nationwide start at Daytona Saturday night. His best finish to date was second last year.
