We’ve added new elements for 2010 that are sure to be fan favorites, like the Team Chevy Winner’s Circle Photo Trailer, where you can get your framed picture with your favorite Chevy driver, or spend some time testing your skills on one of our racing simulator games. Also new for this year is the opportunity for fans to take a test drive in some our hottest products, including the Chevy Equinox and the Chevy Camaro.”
At the Team Chevy Racing Display, fans can learn about several of Chevrolet’s 2010 models from product specialists, and have a Victory Lane “green screen” photo taken at the Team Chevy Winner’s Circle Photo Trailer. There also will be a Kid Zone, featuring games and prizes. The Team Chevy Racing Display is located just outside the main gate at Daytona International Speedway, and will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday.
Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. highlight a list of 10 Team Chevy drivers who will take part in moderated question-and-answer sessions with fans at the Team Chevy Stage Friday through Sunday, Feb. 12-14. The Team Chevy Stage is located next to the Team Chevy Racing Display.
Drivers appearing Friday: Tony Stewart (10:30 a.m.), Juan Pablo Montoya (11:15 a.m.), John Wes Townley (11:30 a.m.), Clint Bowyer (12 p.m.) and Austin Dillon (2:45 p.m.). Appearing Saturday: Ryan Newman (9 a.m.), Jeff Gordon (9:15 a.m.) and Jimmie Johnson (9:30 a.m.). Appearing Sunday: Jeff Burton (9:10 a.m.) and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (10:15 a.m.).
Fans also can test drive all weekend several 2010 Chevrolet models, including the all-new Camaro, at the Team Chevy Test Drive at the Superstretch, located behind Daytona International Speedway’s backstretch. A shuttle service will provide transportation between the Team Chevy Racing Display and the Superstretch. Fans can pre-register for the Team Chevy Test Drive on site or online.
