Robby Gordon, 2010 Shelby American NSCS Race Preview
Press Release
Monster Energy Sponsorship – Just weeks before the 2010 season debut, Robby Gordon Motorsports announced an extension to their current partnership with Monster Energy Drink to include sponsorship on Gordon’s No. 7 Camry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Monster Energy and Robby Gordon already have a well developed partnership through Robby’s off-road endeavors, where they pair with Toyo Tires to serve as the primary sponsor on Gordon’s Trophy Truck and HUMMER.
Robby’s Thoughts – “Las Vegas is always one of my favorite places to race,” commented Gordon. “The excitement of The Strip easily transitions to the track on Sunday afternoon leaving everyone hyped for a great race. We had a strong finish here last season, and we’ve put a lot of work into the Monster Energy Camry to prepare for the 2010 event. Hopefully the Monster Energy team can finally turn our luck around to bring home another great finish in Sin City.”
Career at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – Gordon returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2010 hoping to improve upon the top-fifteen finish that was recorded just one year ago around the 1.5-mile oval. Throughout his career, Gordon has recorded 10 starts and has logged 2215 laps around the intermediate race track.
