Travis Kvapil to Race Long John Silver’s $1 Baja Fish Taco Ford at Dover and NASCAR All-Star Events

NASCAR and Long John Silver’s fans everywhere are encouraged to help guarantee that Kvapil and the No. 34 $1 Baja Fish Taco team will compete in the All-Star race following the All-Star Showdown by submitting their votes now at http://www.nascar.com/promos/allstar/2010/vote/.
“There is nothing that I’d love to do more than carry the $1 Baja Fish Taco colors in the All-Star Challenge this year,” said Kvapil. “I need all the fans of Long John Silver’s to get behind us to make that happen. Our goal is race our way in, but the fans can help guarantee us a spot with the fan vote. It would be special to see that happen.”
Fans can cast unlimited votes today through May 22 one hour before the start of the All-Star race one of three ways.
Sprint customers can vote using the NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile application on their Sprint or Nextel devices. As an added incentive for customers, every wireless vote submitted from a Sprint or Nextel device counts double towards a driver’s vote total. To download the new NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, which is free with any data plan, Sprint customers should text “NASCAR” to 7777; standard text messaging and data rates may apply.
Fans also cast a ballot by logging on to www.nascar.com or visiting the Sprint Experience display, located in the midway at all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
