Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been, by far, the most popular driver in NASCAR and has been for several years now. He’s received Most Popular Driver honors every year since 2003. Earnhardt Jr. is also popular with the Make-A-Wish organization.

“To meet these kids and families is a priviledge,” he said. “A lot of times the Make-A-Wish meeting is the best part of the whole weekend. It’s amazing that when you talk to the kids and learn about their lives, you learn a lot about yourself as well.”

For those unfamiliar with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, it grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Many of those children have wished to meet their favorite driver, Earnhardt Jr. - Full Story by Amanda Vincent
