CHARLOTTE, N.C., 04/28/10 – The No. 36 Chevrolet Impala for Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) will feature H.D. Segur, Inc. for this weekend’s Heath Calhoun 400 at Richmond International Raceway, team owner Tommy Baldwin announced today.  H.D. Segur, Inc., a full-service independent insurance agency headquartered in Cheshire, CT, will be displayed on the Chevrolet driven by Casey Mears this weekend.

In a statement released by H.D. Segur, Inc., owners Carl Temme, Bill Morris and Scott Sundberg said they are excited about their decision to participate in the sponsorship of Tommy Baldwin and the race team this weekend.  “Sponsorship of TBR and involvement with NASCAR offers us a unique opportunity to expand the name recognition of the company beyond our traditional marketing area to a broad base of potential new customers,” they stated.

The Heath Calhoun 400 will be Mears’s first start as the full-time driver of the No. 36.  Mears has had success at Richmond International Raceway, including a 9^th place finish in last year’s Russ Friedman 400.   Baldwin is ready to put last week’s wreck at Talladega behind him and to go racing at Richmond.

“We are looking forward to having Casey behind the wheel this weekend and seeing what we can do in his first start with the No. 36,” Baldwin said.  “I’m excited H.D. Segur, Inc. is on board with us and hopefully we can get a nice finish for them.”
