3M Announces Special Pit Bulls Pain Scheme for All-Star Weekend
Press Release
“3M knows the value of teamwork to get the job done and we thought that the All-Star weekend would be the proper time to honor our entire team by putting our team mascot on the hood,” said Randy Taylor, 3M NASCAR Program Manager. “The Pit Bulls have been performing at a high level and we wanted to recognize them with this paint scheme.”
Taylor unveiled the paint scheme to the Pit Bulls last weekend in Talladega and the reaction was overwhelming excitement and pride in both their team and their sponsor.
“It was a huge surprise from our sponsor, 3M, to have a car dedicated to the pit crew,” said team jackman Rodney Fetters. “All the 3M Pit Bulls are very excited about this and look forward to seeing ‘our’ car do great things on the NASCAR Sprint All-Star weekend.”
A diecast model is being made to commemorate this special paint scheme. It will be available online at www.3M.com/racing . Orders will be taken for the die cast car now with an expected delivery date in October of 2010.
