MIS to host NASCAR Day Party at Jerry’s Pub on May 21

Michigan International Speedway is partnering with one of its local and most popular race weekend hangouts, Jerry’s Pub and Restaurant, for a NASCAR Day party on Friday, May 21.
The NASCAR Day party will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Jerry’s Pub, located at 650 Egan Highway, Brooklyn, Mich. on scenic Wampler’s Lake, approximately 4.5 miles from MIS.
“We’re pleased to host Michigan International Speedway’s NASCAR Day party at our establishment,” Jerry’s Pub owner Jerry Andonian said. “NASCAR’s visit to the Irish Hills twice a year really impacts our business in a positive way and we’re happy to help promote NASCAR Day with our great relationship we have with MIS.”
Although there is no cover charge to attend, a $5 donation to receive a NASCAR Day pin when fans arrive is encouraged. NASCAR Day pin sales will be on sale throughout the night with all proceeds benefiting the speedway’s non-profit charitable arm, MIS Cares. Fans may also visit the MIS administration building during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.) and purchase a NASCAR Day pin prior to the event.
The NASCAR Day party will feature a variety of giveaways, including NASCAR autographed memorabilia, drink and food specials and the opportunity to purchase a discounted Jerry’s Pub ticket package on that night only.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be televised during the party and local radio host J ROD from K105.3 will be on hand serving as the DJ, providing live music throughout the entire evening.
