Race Fans Can Nominate ‘Hometown Hero’ to be Honored at NASCAR Weekend
Press Release
Race fans can nominate a current or former member of the United States military or National Guard, and that military member could be recognized at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, June 20 (Father’s Day). Today was specifically chosen for this announcement as it is National Armed Forces Day.
Race fans must submit their selection at www.infineonraceway.com/military, as well as reasons why that member of the military should be recognized. Race fans must also submit a picture of the military member.
The winner (military member) of the contest will receive a VIP experience for him/her, plus a guest at the Toyota/Save Mart 350, including lodging. He/she will also be recognized as the Hometown Hero to the crowd during pre-race ceremonies, moments before the green flag is dropped on the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
The contest closes on Sunday, June 6, so be sure and visit www.infineonraceway.com/military to submit your Hometown Hero. For questions, contact Rachal Pollen at rpollen@infineonraceway.com.
