Saturday
2010 NSCS Coca-Cola 600 Saturday Q & A with Ford Racing Driver, Kasey Kahne
Press Release
KASEY KAHNE – No. 9 Budweiser Ford Fusion – WHAT WAS THE KEY FOR YOU IN THAT FIRST PRACTICE RUN? “We just started off really good. The car was actually perfect that first run. You don’t get that situation too often. I think that is the key to why we were the best car.”
YOU SAID THAT IN QUALIFYING YOU FELT FASTER THAN FOURTH, DID YOU FEEL FASTER TODAY THAN YESTERDAY? “It felt really good again, similar to qualifying. We just had a little bit more speed that some of the other guys. It is really close though … very competitive. There are a lot of good cars out there, so it will be tough.”
WHAT WILL BE THE KEY TO KEEP UP THIS EFFORT TOMORROW? “Today is one day and we just have to see what the track does. We know it is going to change for tomorrow and then it is going to change throughout the entire 600 miles. We just have to prepare the best we can and look ahead and be ready for the last couple hundred miles, those are the ones that really count.”
