Darrell Waltrip to Remain on SPEED Through Summer Months

The three-time Cup champion and FOX Sports analyst will replace Kyle Petty on NASCAR RaceDay for the Michigan (June 13), Infineon Raceway (June 20), Daytona (July 3) and Chicagoland (July 10) events. He also will fill in for Elliott Sadler on Trackside Live and serve as an analyst for SPEED’s broadcast of the Cup Series practice and qualifying broadcasts during these weekends, while Jeff Hammond simultaneously steps in to handle Petty’s NASCAR Victory Lane duties.
“I am really looking forward to working with John Roberts and Kenny,” Waltrip said. “I like doing shows I’ve never done before and RaceDay is a fun show to be a part of. Just like Trackside, it involves the fans.”
Additionally, Jimmy Spencer will return to NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane for the Pocono (June 6) and New Hampshire (June 27) events, replacing Petty as an analyst.
