Greg Biffle, 2010 NSCS Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 Race Preview
Press Release
Erwin on Michigan: “Well, we’d obviously love to give Ford their first win of the season in their own backyard this weekend in Michigan. We have historically run well there as a company and it would be a great place for us to regain the momentum we had earlier in the season. The wrecks the last two weeks have definitely taken a toll on our points standings but we had top-10 runs going both weeks. This is a race where pit strategy is important and fuel mileage is usually a factor. You also have to watch for overheating because there can be a lot of trash blowing around at this track. We need a good finish this weekend and I feel like we can get it done in Michigan.”
Michigan Notes
• Biffle is currently 10th in the point standings and 336 points out of the lead following his 28th-place finish in Pocono.
• At Michigan International Speedway, Biffle has an average finishing position of 13.2 from an average starting position of 15.6.
• Update on tire carrier Kevin McDowell: Recent x-rays show that McDowell has a broken toe that was not discovered in earlier x-rays due to swelling. It is now expected that McDowell will be out for three to five more weeks.
• Fans can go to www.RoushFenway.com or www.revyourengines.com to enter the 3M Rev Your Engines Sweepstakes for a chance to win a Ford Fiesta.
