For putting himself on the line as a Police Officer to help protect and serve the people of Chicago and for his community service efforts through the Amateur City Elite, Fullman has been named the ‘ExtenZe Local Hero’ and will serve as Honorary Crew Chief for NASCAR’s leading Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year driver Kevin Conway and his ExtenZe racing team for this weekend’s NASCAR events at Chicagoland Speedway.
Fullman was also recently named an “All-Star Among Us” in PEOPLE Magazine and MLB’s All-Star game campaign. He will be honored at the 2010 MLB All-Star Game on FOX and featured in special pre-game ceremony July 13th at Angels stadium.
“I think it is remarkable that Kenny (Fullman) gives so much of his time to give back to the people of Chicago,” said the leading NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year driver Kevin Conway. “Not only does he put his life on the line everyday as a Police Officer but then in his free time he is making sure the youth in Chicago are doing the right things to better themselves and staying off the streets to become better citizens of Chicago by helping them reach their goals and dreams of going to college and beyond. And for that we are truly honored to have Fullman with us this weekend in Chicago serving as our Honorary Crew Chief as part of our ExtenZe Local Hero program.”
The ‘ExtenZe Local Hero’ program pays tribute to people who have gone to great lengths to make a difference. Those selected have faced danger, sacrificed their own safety for others or in some way displayed leadership that changed their community for the better. Award recipients become ExtenZe Racing Honorary Crew Chiefs, receive a tour of the paddock, attend the pre-race NASCAR Driver/Crew Chief meeting, and sit atop the pit box with Crew Chief Peter Sospenzo to root on rookie driver Kevin Conway piloting the royal blue and red No. 34 ExtenZe Ford Fusion. Each recipient also receives a $1,000 award from ExtenZe, the world’s best selling male enhancement product, in recognition of their selflessness.
