Mooresville, NC (July 21, 2010)- With the second half of the 2010 Sprint Cup season under way, TRG Motorsports and Bobby Labonte have agreed to campaign in four additional races sponsored by TaxSlayer.com.

After parting ways following the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in June, Labonte and TRG Motorsports have agreed to campaign at the upcoming races at Pocono (August 1), Michigan (August 15), Atlanta (September 5), and Texas (November 7). For all four races, the car will feature the familiar red and black paint scheme of TRG sponsor Taxslayer.com.

For Team Owner Kevin Buckler, continuing with Labonte and Taxslayer.com is the right fit.

“We are very happy to have Bobby in the #71 car for the four remaining 2010 races with Taxslayer.com,” stated Buckler. “Bobby is a series’ champion. He made his debut with us at Atlanta, and we’re pleased to have him in the drivers seat of the Taxslayer Chevy.”

TRG Motorsports is based in Mooresville, North Carolina. Currently the team fields a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series entry as well as 3 different Profesional Sportscar series. The Racer’s Group was founded in 1993 and has been competing at the top level of sports car racing. TRG’s Porsche sports car program is run out of the company’s headquarters in Petaluma, California. The team has the most wins of any team in the Grand-Am Rolex Series with 30, including the 2005 and 2006 Rolex Series GT championship trophy to go along with wins in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona (three) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
