KEVIN CONWAY, No. 34 EXTENZE FORD: “It started out a little bit rough but we figured it out. I spun early in the inner loop and got us a lap down. Got that lap back and the whole ExtenZe Racing Team did a really good job getting the car a lot better and just learned a lot and again finished again right there with our teammate. We’ll take that and head on to Michigan and see what we can learn there and try to add to our Raybestos Rookie of the Year points lead.”
HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU GOING BACK TO MICHIGAN FOR THE SECOND TIME? “Well I’m really excited about Michigan. That’s a racetrack where we had engine failure 38 laps in but we had a really good car. It’s a racetrack I can’t wait to get to. I really like the two-mile, mile-and-a-half racetracks so getting back to a little bit of something more than I know and a racetrack that I’ve been to before.”
