KEVIN CONWAY, No. 7 SPEEDFACTORY.TV TOYOTA: HOW WAS THE LAP? “It wasn’t too bad. We’ve been fighting really tight in the center all day long and we focused pretty much just on race trim stuff. For us, our first qualifying effort with Robby Gordon Motorsports, we’ll take it. We picked up from where we were. It’s not what we’re looking for. The car was still just really tight in the center and we’ve been fighting that all day long so we were a little late getting back to the gas but you know, on a long run, after about 10 laps into a run, I feel like we were really good. We’ve just got to compare notes with Robby and see what we can do to get the car going a little bit better on the short run but we’re in real good shape for the long run. Just a little bit too tight there to get the lap that we were looking for in qualifying.”
