Archdale, NC (September 28, 2010) - Securing three fully funded races for the end of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, Phoenix Racing and Bobby Labonte announced today that C&J Energy Services Inc. will sponsor the No. 09 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet. C&J Energy will be the primary sponsor for races at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on October 24, Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway on November 14 and the season finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway on November 21. The company will serve as an associate sponsor for the remainder of the season.

Headquartered in Labonte’s hometown, Corpus Christi, Texas, C&J Energy Services is a provider of coil tubing, pressure pumping services, and recently fracturing services, to the oil and gas industry in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. It will be the first time the company has partnered with a NASCAR team and driver. The relationship, however, is longstanding within the Labonte family.

“The folks at C&J Energy Services have been friends of our family for many years,” said Bobby Labonte. “They have seen our family grow over the years in the sport and they wanted to join us to help out at the end of this year. It’s a great company, run by great people, and hopefully fans can learn more about them through this opportunity.”

C&J Energy Services understands the attraction of the Sprint Cup Series, Phoenix Racing and Bobby Labonte. It was what led them to this opportunity.

“Our group at C&J Energy Services has been following NASCAR and the Labonte family for a long time,” said Josh Comstock, President and CEO C&J Energy Services. “As a company that continues to grow, the fans of NASCAR, the Labontes and Phoenix Racing allow us to reach a whole new audience. This was an easy decision for us and one that we’re looking forward to.”

Phoenix Racing and Bobby Labonte will have more sponsor announcements soon as they continue to fill out the rest of their Sprint Cup season. For now, team owner James Finch is ready to support C&J Energy Services.

“We’re really pleased to have C&J Energy come on board with us,” said Finch. “Their support will allow us to give Bobby the best resources we have for their primary races and allow us to focus on getting better the rest of the season as we continue to build into 2011.”

Phoenix Racing will continue to enter a car for Labonte in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and for Ryan Newman in the Nationwide Series through the remainder of the 2010 season.
