Todd Bodine has reached a point in his NASCAR career where he isn’t so much worried anymore about what he hasn’t done, but instead prefers to reflect on what he has.

Or still has an opportunity to do.

“I’ve won two Cup races at Charlotte, but they were non-points races (Winston Opens), and I still haven’t won a points race in the Cup series, and I would still like to have the opportunity to do that with a good team,” Bodine said.

“I’d like to do that before I’m done. That’s probably the one thing for sure, but if that doesn’t happen, so be it. I’ve had a good career, won a lot of races and have been able to earn a living doing what I love to do.

“I’m very fortunate.”

He’s also been very successful.

In 238 career Cup starts, Bodine lacks a victory. He does have 15 career wins in the Nationwide Series and 21 in Trucks, where he won the championship in 2006 with Germain Racing.
