Stavola Labonte Racing Announces Bobby Labonte Behind the Wheel at Texas Motor Speedway
Press Release
“We watched closely what Bobby and the team did at Charlotte,” said co-owner Terry Labonte. “They ran a strong race for their first time working together, and teaming with the guys again will give us information to be best prepared heading into next season.”
Bobby Labonte finished 22nd in his first start for the team co-owned by his brother Terry and winning car owner Billy Stavola. Labonte will be making his 20th start at the speedway where he has two poles and three top-five finishes.
“I really felt good about what we did in our first race together,” said Bobby Labonte. “This will give us another chance to race again and really give a lot of feedback to this team as they put together their 2011 program. This is a team building a strong foundation and I’m proud to help out.”
The team plans to compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2011 with Terry Labonte behind the wheel. The team is continuing to secure additional partners for next season.
