NASHVILLE, TN., March 29, 2010 – Baker Curb Racing announced today that Johnny Sauter will drive the team’s No. 27 Red Man Moist Snuff Ford in Saturday’s Nashville 300 at Nashville Superspeedway. Sauter’s resume at the mile and a third concrete track includes two runner-up finishes and a pole award. He finished second for Baker Curb Racing in the 2004 Pepsi 300 and was also the runner-up in the 2003 Pepsi 300 driving for Richard Childress Racing. The Necedah, WI native captured the pole for the 2003 Trace Adkins Chrome 300.

Of Sauter’s three career NASCAR Nationwide Series wins, two have connections to Baker Curb Racing. Current Red Man Racing crew chief Rick Viers guided Sauter to his first career Nationwide Series victory at Chicagoland Speedway in July of 2002 and Baker Curb Racing co-owner Mike Curb was the owner of Sauter’s No. 43 when he won at Richmond International Raceway in September of 2003.
