Raybestos Rookie News and Notes: Nashville 200

- Austin Dillon was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the March 27 Kroger 250 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Dillon scored a 16th-place finish and took top rookie honors for the second time this season.
- Dillon leads Brett Butler by three points (32-29) in the Raybestos® Rookie standings entering the April 2 Nashville 200 at Nashville (Lebanon, Tenn.) Superspeedway.
- Dillon is ninth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship standings, best of any Raybestos® Rookie. He trails eighth-place Tayler Malsam by 23 points and has a one-point edge over 10th-place David Starr.
- This is the first spring race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Nashville Superspeedway.
- Carl Edwards is the only Raybestos® Rookie to win in nine NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Nashville. Edwards won the 2003 race by 1.209 seconds over Ted Musgrave in 2003. He is also the only Raybestos® Rookie to lead the most laps at Nashville, holding the top spot twice for 76 of 150 laps.

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY
- Johnny Sauter won 2009 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Sauter was the top rookie 14 times in 25 races and his official margin of victory over Tayler Malsam was 57 points (270-213). He scored his first win at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (race No. 20) in his 31st career start, 2.474 seconds ahead of teammate Matt Crafton. He finished the season with one win, two poles, seven top-five, 13 top-10 fin ishes and placed sixth in the series championship standings.
- DID YOU KNOW? Sauter is the most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (nine races).
- DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a pole position in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is also Sauter, who grabbed the top starting spot for the 2009 Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix (Avondale, Ariz.) International Raceway (five races).

- Kurt Busch holds the record for best championship finish (second-place), most wins (four), and most money earned ($745,632).
- The record for most top-fives by a Raybestos® Rookie is 13 (Kurt Busch in 2000 and Carl Edwards in 2003).
- The record for most top-10 finishes by a Raybestos® Rookie is 19 by Ricky Hendrick in 2001.
- Kenny Irwin was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the Camping World Truck Series. Irwin captured the Florida Dodge Dealers 400K at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 16, 1997. He took the checkered flag by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.
- Irwin also holds the record for quickest win by a Raybestos® Rookie in the Camping World Truck Series, scoring his first career win at Homestead in just his third career start.
