“Track Pass benefit allows season ticket holders up close access to concert”

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (March 31, 2010) – In 2003, Pat Green hit the country music scene with his breakout hit “Wave on Wave.” On Sunday, May 2, Green will hit the stage at Kansas Speedway for the first time prior to the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250.

“We look forward to having Pat Green perform prior to the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race,” said Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren. “This concert is just another added entertainment element for our fans and with individual tickets available, fans can enjoy the concert and an exciting truck series race.”

The Texas native released his most recent album “What I’m For” in January, which begins with a powerful song called “Footsteps of Our Fathers” and is the stirring sound of Green arriving as a major American singer-songwriter who has managed to make his own way in country music and beyond.

Tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250, which includes the Pat Green pre-race concert, are available and start at $49. Individual tickets for the Road Runner Turbo Indy 300 on Saturday, May 1 are also available.

Kansas Speedway tickets are on sale now by calling 866.460.RACE or logging onto www.kansasspeedway.com. Kansas Speedway offers several ticket options, including weekend only tickets for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Price Chopper 400 presented by Kraft Foods and the NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300. Fans also have the option of purchasing a season ticket that includes all four races and a track pass for each Sunday event that allows access to driver introductions and pre-race concerts.

Tickets for O’Reilly Auto Parts Qualifying Day are also on sale.

Parking is always free at Kansas Speedway and fans can bring one 6x6x12-inch soft-sided cooler into the grandstands with their favorite food and beverages.
