“The truck was just too loose and we never got it tight enough,” Chris Fontaine said of his first NCWTS race at Nashville Superspeedway Saturday night, adding,”We just have to learn and get better.”

Fontaine qualified the Glenden Enterprises #84 Chevy Silverado in the 22nd spot to start the race. There were only two cautions during the 200 mile race, and the team did not have a chance to get the truck right.

“We are all very disappointed and we are going to work our asses off to get it better next time,” he said.

“We are going to Dover next. We did good there last year, so hopefully the stuff we learned will carry over and we will do good,” he said.

In the spring of 2009, Fontaine led some laps and finished 14th in the NCWTS race at Dover, only the second race he and the newly formed Chris Fontaine Inc. NCWTS team had run.

The Dover 200 NCWTS race will be on Friday, May 14 at Dover International Speedway. It will be televised at 8:00 pm on SPEED.
