Billy Ballew, Robert Yates, Rusty Wallace to Appear at Collector Car Auction
Press ReleaseCARTERVILLE, Ga. (May 4, 2010) - Red Top Auto Auction is hosting its Collector Car Auction on May 22-23 in Cartersville, Ga. On hand throughout the two-day event will be NASCAR Camping World Truck Series owner Billy Ballew, 1989 NASCAR Cup Series champion Rusty Wallace, national drag racing legends Hubert Platt and Randy Payne, championship team owner Robert Yates and current Nationwide and Truck Series driver Steve Wallace.
The Collector Car Auction will feature all vehicle types, including street rods, classics, antiques, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles. Vehicles from the Austin Hinds collection, as well as an authentic No. 88 Ford Taurus used by Dale Jarrett during his championship run in 1999, will be up for auction. The doors open at 7 a.m. Eastern on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. The racing personalities will be signing autographs and greeting guests at various times during each day.
Red Top Auto Auction is no stranger to motorsports. The organization sponsored Billy Ballew Motorsports’ No. 15 entry at three events this season. It will sponsor Johnny Benson’s Toyota Tundra at Dover on May 14.
