MAKE Motorsports / T.J. Bell Charlotte Motor Speedway, North Carolina Education 200 Race Preview
Press Release
Instead of a charity this week, MAKE Motorsports is honoring Emergency Medical Services Week. It runs from May 15-22. The #50 truck will have decal in honor of EMS week and in memory of those who have lost their lives in the last year serving in Emergency Medical Services profession. The team has close ties to this community with several members who have or currently serve in this capacity, to include co-owner Tracy Lowe (EMT-P) and her husband Bradley Lowe. The pit board will bear the names of the individuals who have lost their lives serving in the last year. It is an honor for us to bring awareness to a profession that is often over looked but we could not live without. For more information about EMS Week, visit http://bit.ly/9jVVuq.

ProGold Lubricants President Van Pounds said, “I am proud to announce our race promotion relationship with Make Motorsports and TJ Bell. ProGold Engine Treatments MFR Technology has been active in auto racing for over 10 years now. We plan to get back into NASCAR advertising again for the rest of 2010 race schedule and the entire 2011 season.” For more information about Pro Gold, visit www.progoldmfr.com.
Giving Back to MAKE Good
MAKE Motorsports owners Mark and Sharon Beaver auctioned a set of tickets to the NC Lottery 200 for Charity earlier this week in honor of the races. The tickets were won by Gage Freeman, a Fourth grader from Shelby (the MAKE Motorsports’ owners’ home town) who suffers from multiple medical conditions. TJ Bell came to the shop today to meet Gage and his family. It was a great time for all involved. That is what our team is about…giving back to the community.
Chassis Info:
No. 50 Twin Oaks South Chevrolet: Chassis #1, used previously in the Nashville & Kansas 2010 NCWTS races. New Crew Chief Scott Weaver also joins the No. 50 team for his debut with MAKE Motorsports and TJ Bell. Weaver said, “I am really looking forward to Charlotte. I am expecting a good run.
We have spent a lot of time making improvements to the No. 50 truck, including changing manufacturers and engine programs. We may not have everything that the rest of the teams have, but we make up to that in the dedication of our team. TJ is a great driver, and I have worked with him before. I am looking forward to see what he can do with the truck.”
TJ Bell Charlotte 2009 History:
Ranked 15th in 2009 with Red Horse Racing, TJ Bell produced 6 top 10 finishes in 25 starts. His average finish was 17th, average start 16th.
