AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY, MAY 22, 2010,

· Elliott Sadler led twice for 31 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in this morning’s N.C. Education Lottery 200. Sadler captured the honor for the second time this season. He has now led three times in two races for a total of 56 laps.

· UNOFFICIALLY Sadler and Kevin Harvick are tied for the lead (2-2) in the WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.

· Sadler posted a fifth-place finish at Charlotte, his best effort in six NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races and his first top-five.

“Man I am so happy, ecstatic to be driving this thing. We definitely had the truck to beat tonight. Just miscommunication between me and Butch [Hylton, crew chief]. We had to pit under green and come back from a lap down to finish five. I’m so proud of this race team. So much fun to race with these guys and run up front again. It’s great for my confidence. I just want to thank Insignia and everyone at Best Buy for supporting us the last couple of weeks. It’s been a lot of fun.”

HOW MUCH DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO RUN UP FRONT?

“I’ve had a tough last four years so to be able to come back and run up front and compete with these guys…I tell you what, don’t let truck racing fool you. This is real racing. These boys go at it really hard. I’ve learned a lot, had a lot of fun. For this team to battle back, everybody stayed positive on the radio, was absolutely a lot of fun.”
