Brett Butler is ready to do battle at Michigan International Speedway. The youngster is behind the wheel of his favorite truck and looks forward to the chance to battle at the front.

“I love the piece we are taking to Michigan. The last two races have yielded better finishes than we expected and now with the truck I have the most confidence in, I think we can contend with the leaders,” stated Butler.

Brett will be driving the #47 Fuel Doctor USA Chevy once again and the chance of a Top 10 is in reach. “It would be nice to grab the finish I know we are capable of. We have missed it a few times but we feel that karma is starting to sway in our favor.

Butler currently sits 17th in the points standings and knows he has a chance to get back into the hunt for the Top 15 with a strong run this weekend.

“The guys are really starting to gel. We have not been doing this very long together but each and every week we are getting stronger as a unit.”

Butler is set for the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday June 12th. Practice for the event will be on Friday the 11th at 10:30am and 1:10 with qualifying starting at 9:30am on Saturday on SPEED. The VFW 200 will begin at 2:00pm on SPEED as well.
