Rick Ware Racing’s Brett Butler is looking forward to Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway this weekend. Butler has faced seven new tracks this season, and is finally going to a track that he has some experience at.

“I really like racing at Iowa Speedway,” stated Butler. “I raced there last year in the ARCA Racing Series and started 17th and finished 15th. Then I got the pleasure of racing the USAR Pro Cup Series Championship race at Iowa and did really well finishing 5th as well. This brings me some valuable experience as well as confidence for this weekend.”

Brett is also coming off some impressive runs where he piloted his #47 Fuel Doctor USA to a 22nd, 19th and 24th place finishes. “We know we are better than this and we just need to catch some luck on cautions and we can be a Top 10 contender. The luck has not been on our side this year but we plan on making our own luck and race near the front!”

Butler will be piloting the #47 Fuel Doctor USA Chevy scheme with the chassis he has yielded the best results with, RWR-007. “This is a great piece to run at Iowa. We feel confident that we can be a contender this week, and the truck should be good right out of the box!”

During the off week, Butler was very busy. He helped raise money for the Charlotte, North Carolina chapter for Crohns and Colitis with a charity walk.

Brett also was honored by throwing out the first pitch at the Atlanta Braves game on Monday, June 28th.

Action for the Lucas Oil 200 will begin with practice on Saturday July 11th at 12:45 and 3:00pm with qualifying at 7:30pm EST on SPEED. The green flag will wave at 2:00pm EST on Sunday, July 12th on SPEED for 200 laps that equal 175 miles.

Also don’t forget to cast your vote daily for Brett Butler for the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Most Popular Driver contest.
