Brett Butler Scores Top-20 Finish At Iowa Speedway
Press Release
“Things are coming around for this little team,” stated Butler. “In the past few races we are starting to see our performance and finishing position improve and that is encouraging.”
Butler qualified the #47 Fuel Doctor USA Chevrolet in the 29th position but knew his truck was better than that. “I’ve always struggled as a qualifier but we knew the truck was a good racer and that’s what we focused on!”
Brett stayed clear of a few altercations on the track and moved into the Top 20 at the half way mark of the Lucas Oil 200. “We were setting ourselves up for a Top 15 but just fell short. We have that solid finish still in us and we will hit soon enough as strong as we are getting”
Butler rallied to finish 18th on the day and moved his #47 into the 20th position in the Owners Standings.
“If we keep up this momentum, we should be really strong the last half of the season when we get to tracks that I have experienced now.”
