LEBANON, Tenn. – Race fans at Nashville Superspeedway for the Aug. 7, 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be treated to two talented music acts before and after the 200-mile race. Edens Edge will sing the national anthem during pre-race ceremonies, and Sunny Sweeney will play a live post-race concert as part of the Dillon Transportation Concert Series immediately following the Saturday, Aug. 7 race, scheduled to take the green flag at 8 p.m. The concert is free to all Aug. 7 ticket holders.

Comprised of Hannah Blaylock, Dean Berner and Cherrill Green, Edens Edge composes a unique musical blend deeply rooted in Country and Bluegrass. Growing up about an hour from each other in Arkansas, the members of Edens Edge never met until they were introduced through mutual friends in college. In recent months the trio has opened for such Country stars as Ronnie Milsap and Randy Travis, and will be opening for the likes of Lady Antebellum, LoneStar and Gloriana on the road this summer. The trio is currently writing and recording their Big Machine Records debut album.

Hailing from East Texas, Sunny Sweeney is a singer/songwriter with a big voice, vibrant personality and musical instincts that are stone-cold Country. Sweeney’s first project for the Big Machine Label Group, Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame, drew critical acclaim. Her style garnered comparisons to performers like Miranda Lambert and Lee Ann Womack. Sweeney’s upcoming project on Republic Nashville contains the new single “From A Table Away.”

NASCAR returns to Nashville Superspeedway on Aug. 7, 2010 with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Truck Series will be on track for practice beginning at 10 a.m., with final practice schedule for 11:45 a.m., qualifying at 4:05 p.m., and the 200-mile race starts at 8 p.m. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 1-866-RACE-TIX or visit NashvilleSuperspeedway.com.
