MOORESVLLE, N.C. (July 26, 2010) – The Pocono Mountains 125 will mark the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Pocono Raceway. For Jennifer Jo Cobb, attending a new venue has been the story of her season. Of the 12 previous NCWTS events in 2010, Cobb had only been to three of the tracks prior to the race weekend. Cobb hopes that her No. 10 Driven team will adapt to the new surroundings at Pocono as they’ve done all season long.

Cobb is currently 18th in the NCWTS championship standings, only 55 points outside the top-15.

Cobb Comments on the Pocono Mountains 125:

“I’m really excited about this weekend. This is a ground breaking race and it’s an honor to be a part of it. We’re making history and I’m thrilled that I can say I was there for the first NASCAR Camping Word Truck Series race at Pocono.
“The majority of tracks that we’ve been to this season are places that our team had never been before. We’ve learned how to adapt quickly and come up to speed without any prior notes. We didn’t have setup packages or any previous experience at most of the events so far, so Pocono won’t be too much different. It’s actually kind of neat to think that most teams are starting fresh together. Hopefully it will make for some close racing and an awesome event.

“From everything I’ve seen, Pocono is definitely a driver’s track. Each turn is unique and has to be treated differently. There’s no way to set up a truck to be perfect through all the turns, so the driver has to make up the difference. I love tracks like that. They’re a real challenge and keep you focused the whole race. You have to concentrate on hitting your marks each and every lap, or any mistake you have will be magnified. It seems like it’s going to be a really fast track, too. That has all the elements for a great race.

“The Cup Series races at Pocono are 500 miles long. Ours is only 125. That means that we won’t have any time to hold back. There’s not as much time to feel out our trucks or wait for the handling to come to us. It’s going to be ‘go’ from the green flag. You’ll see some hard charging, that’s for sure.”
