Brett Butler Looks for Redemption in Nashville
Press Release
In the race last spring, Butler cut a tire on lap 1, destroying the truck and showering him with fiberglass. He fought the next 200 miles with an injured truck to finish the entire race.
“The truck was running well that weekend, but we got off to a terrible start. We cut a tire early, and when it was all said and done, I was in the care center being treated for high carbon monoxide levels and stinging from the fiberglass,” Butler said.
This Saturday’s race will be an opportunity for Butler to get the finish he was looking for last spring, but there’s more than just revenge fueling Butler who sits in the top 20 in points.

In only his second start ever at Nashville Superspeedway, Butler is determined to make this go-around more fruitful.
“This is my second trip to Nashville. I know the team is bringing a competitive truck, and I’ll have a better feel for what it needs and how to run the racing line on the track. This will be a better weekend than we had in the spring.
Guaranteed,” Butler said.
