Nation’s Premier Provider of Tire Recycling Services Joins MAKE Motorsports as Primary Sponsor; Challenges Stock Car Enthusiasts to Reclaim, Reuse & Recycle

Shelby, NC (August 3, 2010) - MAKE Motorsports will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Darlington Raceway in the August 14th race with well-known driver TJ Bell & a new Primary Sponsor on the hood, the nation’s largest tire recycling provider, Liberty Tire Recycling. The #50 Liberty Tire Recycling Chevy Silverado will first take to the track in Darlington, with a continued partnership during the 2010 season. Liberty Tire Recycling joins the growing marketing partnership team with MAKE Motorsports, to include ProGold Lubricants, All Sport® Beverages, JetPool & TwinOaks South. 

As part of the sponsorship program, Liberty Tire Recycling is the official tire recycler of the team – the first NASCAR sponsorship of its category, in the history of the “green” space of the sport. “MAKE Motorsports is a positive, boots on the ground, grassroots team; and Liberty Tire Recycling is about spreading the message of recycling & reclaiming in a positive, viral way,” said Thomas Womble, Vice President of Liberty Tire Recycling. “Our company donated over 500,000 pounds of recycled rubber to build athletic fields in Iraq.  We hope to bring that grassroots effort to NASCAR, and we hope to help the overall outside view of the sport merge into one that actually can be ‘green.’”
