Brett Butler’s seal leak renders a 25th at Nashville Superspeedway
Press Release
“When we were here in the spring, we blew a tire on the first lap and had to limp around with a damaged truck for the remainder of the event. We figured the track owed us one,” Butler stated.
Brett qualified the ”Go Green Machine”, in the 33rd position for the running of the O’Reilly 200 event.
“Qualifying has never been our strong suit, so we weren’t too worried about that. Usually when it’s time to race, we pick up spots rather quickly.”

The master seal let loose on lap 108 and the crew had to take the truck behind the wall to fix it.
“It’s tough. We were holding our own there at about 19th when we it happened. I guess Nashville just isn’t our track this year.”
Brett returned to the track a few laps later and finished in the 25th position on the night.
“We just have to keep digging. We have the capability to run near the front, we just are not catching any breaks,” stated Butler.
