Raybestos Rookie News and Notes: Too Tough to Tame 200

– NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES
Austin Dillon was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the August 7 Nashville 200 at Nashville (Lebanon, Tenn.) Superspeedway. Dillon scored a second-place finish, his fourth top-five in 14 races this season, and claimed top rookie honors for the 10th time in 2010.
DID YOU KNOW? Dillon has finished SEVENTH OR BETTER in each of the last SEVEN consecutive NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
Justin Lofton scored a ninth-place finish at Nashville, his third top-10 of the season and second consecutive.
- Dillon is the only Raybestos® Rookie in series history to win THREE CONSECUTIVE pole positions, capturing the top starting position for the 2010 WinStar World Casino 400 at Texas Motor Speedway (race No. 8), VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway (race No. 9) and Lucas Oil 200 (race No. 10). The most poles by a Raybestos® Rookie in series history are FOUR by Greg Biffle (1998) and Kurt Busch in (2000).
- Dillon leads Lofton by 48 points (198-150) in the overall Raybestos® Rookie standings entering the August 14 Too Tough to Tame 200 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.
- The Too Tough to Tame 200 is the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Darlington since Nov. 13, 2004. Robert Huffman was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in that race, scoring a ninth-place finish.
- The best finish by a Raybestos® Rookie in four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Darlington is sixth by Travis Kvapil in 2001.
- The most Raybestos® Rookies to finish inside the top-10 in a race at Darlington are four in the inaugural 2001 race: Kvapil, Matt Crafton (eighth), Billy Bigley (ninth), and Nathan Haseleu (10th).

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY
Johnny Sauter won 2009 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Sauter was the top rookie 14 times in 25 races and his official margin of victory over Tayler Malsam was 57 points (270-213). He scored his first win at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (race No. 20) in his 31st career start, 2.474 seconds ahead of teammate Matt Crafton. He finished the season with one win, two poles, seven top-five, 13 top-10 finishes and placed sixth in the series championship standings.

Austin Dillon is the only Raybestos® Rookie in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history to win THREE CONSECUTIVE pole positions. Kenny Irwin was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the Camping World Truck Series. Irwin captured the Florida Dodge Dealers 400K at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 16, 1997. He took the checkered flag by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.
Irwin also holds the record for quickest win by a Raybestos® Rookie in the Camping World Truck Series, scoring his first career win at Homestead in just his third career start.
TWO Raybestos® Rookies have won consecutive pole positions: Austin Dillon (2010) and Kurt Busch (2000).
