Mike Skinner on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway
“I can’t wait to get back to Bristol [Motor Speedway]. It is a track where I have led a lot of laps and have been very competitive in the past. I hope we can use this race to help turn around our season. We got caught up in a wreck last weekend that was out of our hands, but we need some top-five and top-three finishes to get our season headed back in the direction that we’re accustomed to. Hopefully we can do that on Wednesday night at Bristol [Motor Speedway].”
Crew Chief Stacy Johnson on competing at Bristol Motor Speedway
“We’re excited to get the No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra on track at Bristol Motor Speedway. It is one of [Mike] Skinner’s best tracks and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish there. We had a strong truck last weekend in Darlington and it’s just unfortunate that we didn’t get a better finish to show for it. Hopefully we can turn our luck around for the last 10 races of the season.”
