News and Notes:
- Chris Fontaine will be making his 23rd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Talladega Superspeedway.
- This is Fontaine’s first time at Talledega.
- He has competed in six NCWTS races so far this year with his own team, at Atlanta, Nashville, Dover, Michigan, Pocono and Chicagoland. He finished 17th at Atlanta, Dover and Michigan. At Chicagoland, Fontaine equaled his career-best finish of 13th set last year at Gateway.
- While running a limited NCWTS schedule with his Glenden Enterprises Team in 2009 and 2010, Fontaine’s averages are steadily improving season over season.

On his steadily improving NCWTS race records:
“Getting people in the right places has made the truck handle better, and enabled me to drive better.”
On making his first NCWTS start at Talladega Superspeedway:
“Everybody on the team is real excited about going to Talladega. We have a truck that has run very well there before, and we have spent a lot of time preparing the truck. We are going to try and get our best qualifying and our best finish.”
Fontaine has done better on the longer tracks he has raced on as opposed to the shorter tracks.
On what has helped the team to do better on the longer tracks:
“We have been getting help from Doug George and some people up in North Carolina, and it has really enabled us to find some more speed in the trucks and get them to drive better for me.”
