Jeffrey Earnhardt set for a memorial Talladega weekend
Press Release
“I have been looking forward to this race for a long time. My family has such a rich history at Talladega and for me to finally get to race here is a dream come true,” stated Earnhardt.
Jeffrey will be making the final step in the approval process for 2010 to compete at all the tracks in 2011 for his Rookie of the Year campaign, but the youngster also knows that plenty of people will be watching other than NASCAR.

This weekend also marks the 10th Anniversary of Dale Earnhardt’s last victory and his grandson understands the significance of such an occasion.
“It would be awesome for the family, friends and fans to celebrate this weekend with a win. I know we have a great truck that is capable of being in victory lane. We just have to race clean and smart and if everything goes well, we can all look up and smile at the end of the night.”
Earnhardt will start the weekend off with practice on Friday from 10-noon EST followed by qualifying at 4:40pm. The green flag will drop for the Mountain Dew 250 on Saturday at 4:00 EST on SPEED
