Justin Lofton Homestead Preview
Press Release
Homestead-Miami Speedway
Ford 200
November 19, 2010
Last Time Out…
Lofton started a strong seventh in last weekend’s race at Phoenix International Raceway. He and the No. 7 team had a consistent night, racing within the top-10 for the majority of the 150-mile race. Despite a lingering tight condition on his Toyota Tundra, Lofton wheeled his way to a ninth place finish.Curtain Call… 24-year-old Lofton will close out his rookie season within the Camping World Truck Series once the checkered flag falls on Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Entering the season finale Lofton has four top-five and seven top-10 finishes, and a highest qualifying position of third to his credit. He has also earned the Raybestos Rookie of The Race honors seven times. He is currently 13th in the driver point standings.
One of the Best… Lofton and crew chief Mark Rette will roll out one of their strongest trucks out of the RHR shop this weekend for the season-ending Ford 200. It is the same truck that Lofton raced to a fifth place finish in Pocono, a career-best qualifying position of third at Darlington, and most recently, an eighth place finish in Las Vegas.
Approaching Off Season Means Busy Schedule For Lofton… With the off season closing in, Lofton is making plans to keep busy during the nearly two-month break in racing action by planning a charity golf tournament. The Justin Lofton Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament will be held on January 22, 2011 at the Del Rio Country Club in Brawley, California. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Imperial Valley. As the event comes together sign-up and event information can be found via LoftonRacing.com.

Crew Chief Mark Rette on Homestead-Miami Speedway: “We’re heading to Homestead hoping for a strong finish to the year. Justin has learned a lot through the season and we’ve grown as a team. We’re taking another truck that Justin has run well in, so we’ll look to keep the momentum rolling from the top-10 at Phoenix to close out the year.”
Equipment Information: Lofton will race chassis RHR123 this week at Homestead. It is the same truck the team raced at Las Vegas.
