2011 NSCS Crown Royal 400 First Practice Session Speeds

Dale Earnhardt Jr., with a lap speed of 125.465 mph, was the fastest during the first NSCS Crown Royal presents the Matthew & Daniel Hansen 400 practice session at Richmond International Raceway.

Second fastest was Carl Edwards with a lap speed of 125.313 mph, and was followed by Clint Bowyer (124.994) who was third fastest, Paul Menard (124.711) fourth fastest and Ryan Newman (124.608) was fifth fastest.

Rounding out the top-ten fastest in practice were Kyle Busch (124.435) who was sixth fastest, Brad Keselowski (124.355) seventh, Mark Martin (124.292) eighth, Kurt Busch (123.876) ninth and Jeff Gordon (123.774) was the tenth fastest.

The teams will have their “Happy Hour” practice session from 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM (EST) this afternoon, and then qualifying which is scheduled to start at 5:35 PM (EST) this evening. FULL STORY »
