RIR Welcomes Back New Car of Nationwide Series :
- Eric McClure will be competing in his 146th career NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend and his eighth at the .75-mile speedway.
- RIR was one of four selected tracks last season to host a New Car of the Nationwide Series race. The Virginia driver qualified in the 34th position and finished this event in the 30th position.
- McClure will be piloting chassis No. 7 this weekend.This chassis was used at Phoenix International Raceway and Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this year and recorded 25th-place finishes in both events.
TriStar Motorsports Welcomes Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown as an Associate for Bubba Burger 250
- The Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown will serve as an associate sponsor of TriStar Motorsports for this weekend’s event at RIR.
- HGI Downtown Richmond began sponsoring McClure in 2010.
