Mike Larrison to Contest Firestone Indy Lights Race at Las Vegas with Andretti Autosport

Indy-Based Sprint Series Driver to Compete with Backing from Local Sponsor INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 9, 2011) - Andretti Autosport announced today that Mike Larrison will join its Firestone Indy Lights lineup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as part of the IZOD IndyCar World Championship weekend on Oct. 16. Larrison, a native of Avon, Ind., began his racing career in motocross at age four and quickly recorded multiple American Motocross Association championships as he progressed through the various classes. He eventually moved from motocross to karting and won five Midwest karting championships in the span of six years.
