
The car was found to be in violation of Sections 12-1 (Actions detrimental to stock car racing), Section 12-4:I (Any determination by NASCAR Officials that the Race Equipment used in the Event does not conform to NASCAR rules), Section 20C-5.10.1A (Carburetor Eligibility: The carburetor must remain as supplied by the NASCAR-approved supplier. Unapproved carburetor modification; accelerator pump discharge nozzles). The violations occurred during opening day inspection on Sept. 22.
Crew chief of car No. 9, Ricky Turner, has been fined $2,500, suspended from NASCAR until the fine is paid, placed on probation for the next two NASCAR K&N Pro Series East events and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31, 2011.
