JILL GEORGE, professional race car driver from Cedar Falls, Iowa, will pilot the Andy Hillenburg Motorsports, #11 Ford Fusion at the Daytona International Speedway on Wednesday, January 12th at the first Daytona test session of the season. George, who has made her racing reputation driving her own dirt late model cars on the World of Outlaws and local midwest circuits, will once again test an ARCA car at Daytona in hopes of landing either a full time ARCA ride or a NASCAR truck series ride for the 2011 season.

“I am very excited for this opportunity and I am thankful for this chance that has been given to me by Andy Hillenburg. Andy has been a long-time friend and supporter of my racing career and I will do my best to make the most of this outstanding opportunity. My hope is go fast, and to see if anyone has interest in picking me up to drive for them in 2011. If that doesn’t happen then we are preparing for another year of World of Outlaws late model series racing in 2011.” George was the first woman to follow a dirt touring series full time in 2010 finishing 12th in points in the World of Outlaws series. “The World of Outlaws series administrators and drivers have been great to me, and I look forward to racing with the WoO in 2011. However, this asphalt opportunity is one I cannot pass up.” George will open her WoO series season in Volusia, Florida, Speedweeks on February 17th.
